Two Hearthian soldiers stand guard at the checkpoint to Frigonia well into the night.
They both start in confusion at the empty checkpoint a few dozen meters on the other side of the border.
"Hey don't the Frigonian's maintain a 24 hour shift on their side of the border?" asks guard one.
"Yeah.... weird that we don't see them tonight" responds the other.
"I haven't seen anyone transit the border either, its been completely silent for hours"
"I'm not complaining, less people crossing the border means less work for us, I swear if I have to look at one more passport..."
"Yeah, but even right after the march into Frigonia there was still traffic, this is weird"
"you don't think they went like Nuriyamiq?"
"And all disappeared? no way, Nuriyamiq was having internal issues way before their fracturing, Frigonia had none of that! Plus we can still see the lights from their cities, Nuriyamiq went dark before anything weird happened"
