Zokesian Air Strikes Cripple Drimp's Regime Forces
Monday, June 23rd, 2206 - The air campaign by Zokesia against the Illigitimate government of Blimp Drimp in south Kafrica crippled his ability to wage war on the ground. Through Naval air power, supported by Air Force SEAD assets, the Zokesian bombing campaign made steady progress in destroying tanks, antiair sites, and Short Range Air defense.
An EC-24J South Star Electronic Warfare Aircraft was shot down over Svarskia during an attack on Drimp positions in the mountains. It is unclear if IU forces or Rebel antiair shot the aircraft down, as it was legally flying in Svarskian airspace at the time of shootdown. All 12 crew onboard were confirmed killed. The names of the crew are being withheld by the Zokesian Government untill 24 hours after notification of the families of the aviators lost.
