SEA announces funeral for Dr. Mira, Punishes perpetrators
In a dastardly act, the head of the astronomy department at Tropath University, Dr. Mira, was found dead by gunshot wounds after making a controversial finding.
Dr. M was considered a major inspiration by the people of Laythe and the wider Joolian system, and was the strongest supporter of the "Grand Observatories" set to open in a little more than 2 years, in her time, she encouraged the citizens of the system to visit their local observatories and learn about the universe, and became known as a major promoter of science throughout the system and on Eeloo. Due to her contributions, a funeral for the great professor will be held relatively soon.
It did not take much time to locate the perpetrators, with a system-wide manhunt being conducted and citizens being encouraged to report ANY suspicious activity in return for a reward if the information turned out to be true. The SEA has begun an effort to capture all involved and all members of the organization within its territories, for those who directly participated in the killing of Dr. Mira, who were swiftly captured, those men, 20 in total, were sentenced to death, with their sentences to be carried out at the close of the year. All other individuals found to be within the same organization are to be deported from the joolian system upon discovery and conviction.
