Announcement from the Foreign Ministry of Affairs
The Basilic Ministry of Foreign Affairs severely condemns the illegitimate actions of the Imperial Union, the Kolusian Commonwealth, and the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth.
The unprovoked and unjustified intrusion of Solarian forces into Sarkiziya and the tacit approval among major powers of the international community regarding an invasion of a sovereign nation is a slander of the ideals that these alliances claim to uphold.
Not to mention the recently enacted embargoes and sanctions against Sarkiziya and her allies, it should not be the case that such violent undertakings are endorsed in the modern world.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released the following message in lieu of the President:
"To the people and servicemen of this great nation, who have gathered within the warmth of their homes to celebrate the joy of this year’s end.
The officers and men, upholding the sacred task of protecting our land.
The delegates and workers, toiling endlessly.
On this night, we must not forget this moment of today, when external forces of the world are testing the strength and grit of our nation, a day that will remain with us for eternity and live in infamy.
Across the world, the adversaries of our great nation have colluded to promote unlawful acts of violence and terrorism against the Motherland and her community.
They have trampled on our sovereignty and our freedom, destroying and tainting everything that has not yet been captured within their grasp.
Comrades, we have become strong and are becoming stronger in the midst of these trials.
The further we develop, the more rampant the reactionary forces of all hues may become, and more unexpected trials may face us. However, these toothless wolves will be nothing compared with what we have experienced until now and we have the strength and confidence with which to overcome them all.
The single-hearted unity of the nation and the masses of the people consolidated in the long course of the struggle and the talent force and asset for self-sustenance will surely become a powerful force that propels and accelerates our advance.
Our country, who has achieved everything that others would not have dared to attempt by surmounting all manner of immeasurable trials and hardships that others had never experienced, will start their advance towards new development and prosperity with greater courage and confidence, unusual passion and preparedness.
The ideal of our Motherland is great, and the day when it is realized will surely come.
To the citizens of Basil,
The culture and values, experience and traditions of our ancestors invariably provided a powerful underpinning for the wellbeing and the very existence of entire states and nations, their success and viability.
We always need to be strong, but this strength can take on different forms. The Empire of Lies proceeds in its policy primarily from rough, direct force. This is when our saying on being “all brawn and no brains” applies.
We all know that having justice and truth on our side is what makes us truly strong. If this is the case, it would be hard to disagree with the fact that it is our strength and our readiness to fight that are the bedrock of independence and sovereignty and provide the necessary foundation for building a reliable future for your home, your family, and your Motherland.
To our dear compatriots,
I am certain that the devoted soldiers and officers of Basil will perform their duty with professionalism and courage.
I have no doubt that the government institutions at all levels and specialists will work effectively to guarantee the stability of our economy, financial system and social wellbeing, and the same applies to corporate executives and the entire business community.
At the end of the day, the future of Basil is in the hands of its people, as has always been the case. This means that we will achieve the goals we have set, and reliably guarantee the security of our Motherland.
I believe in your support and the invincible force rooted in the love for our Motherland.
