Maximilian I has authorized Zokesian 1st fleet to search and seize any ships attempting to enter Hearthia and Sarkyzia, in an ongoing effort to contain the crisis in Sarkyzia. Military spending in Zokesia was increased 29% over the next two years, and despite popular opinion against intervention the Zokesian High Command has stated any hostile action on the Confederate border will be met with swift force. Opponents of Maximilian I say his delay of action is to secure the election before committing any forces to stabilizing the region.
