BASILIC FOREIGN MINISTRY OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE
At the behest of both the people and government of the Second Republic of Basil and the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast, we collectively officially lodge a diplomatic protest of the continued embargo of Irsmuncast by the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth, which has restricted free trade, without due cause, to the detriment of the people of the common Baskay. We urge the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth to approach diplomatic means, and to release all embargoes on Irsmuncat and her trading partners, and to instead seek a peaceful reproachment for the power of the Baskay.
This will aid in cooling of hostilities in the region. Additional to this point, Both Irsmuncast and Basil, working in the interest of her allies, requests The Pan Veiidic Commonwealth establish a demilitarized zone extending 40 kilometers from the current borders of Irsmuncast immediately, so that diplomatic avenues can be reached. To that end as well, both parties also request an end to their restrictions to blackspace overflights over the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth.
The foreign ministry, in coordination with the strategic command of her allies, relay this openly to the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth, and request that cooperation should be manifested within the next 48 hours.
