President Traian given emergency powers

Due to the ongoing conflict in the baskay, president Nicolae Traian has been given emergency powers, allowing him to make amendments to the constitution and deploy the military with only a simple majority vote (>50%) from parliament. If the state is considered to be existentially threatened, he is granted the title of Dictator Temporarius, allowing him to make decisions without waiting for parliamentary consensus. It is expected that this state of emergency will last the length of the conflict.
Traian was quoted saying the following after parliament voted unanimously for the state of emergency:
