Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth response to the Irsmun-Basilic communication

The Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth acknowledges receipt of this communication, sent by the Second Republic of Basil and the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast. The contents have been reviewed by the Veiidic Committee and the office of the General Secretary of the Commonwealth.
The Commonwealth rejects the assertion that the sanctions placed upon the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast are without cause. These sanctions were placed lawfully, commensurate with the covert actions undertaken by the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast in 2201 in an attempt to destabilize the constitutional structure of the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth by sowing discord among the nations of Veiid and ultimately attempting to subvert the Veiidic Committee.
This campaign was discovered and swiftly ended by the joint efforts of the NOA and DSDB. These activities by the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast, now formally declassified under Veiidic law pursuant to ACT22803, are the antithesis of diplomacy.
The Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth will not agree to any requests related to economic or military concessions made by the Second Republic of Basil so long as they remain aligned with the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast, particularly while the Second Republic of Basil continues to mobilize her forces. Such an act would be tantamount to treason, a betrayal of duty to the people of Veiid.
As when the economic sanctions on the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast began, the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth remains open to further direct negotiations in good faith. Responsibility for further escalation rests where it has always rested: with the Second Republic of Basil and her axis.
