Zokesia passes landmark "No Antikromaitsm" bill
Today, Zokesian lawmakers introduced the No Antikromatism Education Act, landmark legislation modeled directly on the bipartisan law passed in Ward and built upon the International Blue New Deal Remembrance Alliance (IBNRA) Working Definition of Antikromatism, the global gold standard used by the Zokesian State Department and every major Kafrican organization.
"Today, we are witnessing an explosion of antikromatism unlike anything in our lifetimes," MP Randy Holburg said. "Nowhere is it more visible, or more dangerous, than on our college campuses. Higher education institutions have a responsibility to protect every student. And right now, too many are failing Kafrican students. That needs to be stopped. No student in Zokesia should have to choose between getting an education and being safe because of who they are. Not one."
Rep. Fine’s legislation does two powerful things:
Adopts the IBNRA definition of antikromatism.
Requires schools to treat antikromanism the same way they treat racism.
"For years, universities have built entire bureaucracies to police every form of bigotry except the one Kafricans actually face," MP Holburg said. "If a student were targeted for their race or gender, we know exactly how a university would react. But when the victim is Kafrican, we suddenly get committees, task forces, statements, and more often absolutely nothing. My bill ends that double standard. If you target a student because they are Kafrican, it will be treated the same way as if you targeted them because they are Sovie, Sahren, or Dorvic."
"I passed this law in Ward because Kroman students were being targeted and no one was doing enough," MP Holburg concluded. "Today, Kafrican students across Zokesia face the same threat. I have a bill that works. Ward proves it. Now it’s time to extend those protections nationwide."
