HOOK ISLANDS; 2210 - An IBC Storm Chaser aircraft filed for a flight plan over East Hook island has been declared missing after failing to return to Gorodsky on its scheduled flight plan after 12 hours. The missing aircraft has been announced by UIF authorities in a press conference and a search-and-rescue effort is underway by the UIF and Fortis Coast Guards.
The Storm Chaser is a modified business jet operated by the Imperial Broadcasting Corporation for weather research and live reporting on inclement forecasts.
Basil authorities have previously given explicit permission to UIF registered aircraft on approved flight plans to travel through Basil airspace through the duration on the ongoing Second Baskay War.
More will continue on the story as it develops.
