Solaria President Announces Tragedy

The Solarian president announces a major tragedy has happened in the Northern Industrial city of Aberd. Search and rescue teams, firefighters, and nuclear waste disposal teams were immediately sent to the scene. Some suspect it was a terrorist attack.
Rumours has it that a drunk kerbal being put onto active factory manufacturing duty for 35 hours a week accidentally fitted a CARS missile with a damaged fuse when attaching the weapon onto a brand new H-2 Bomber. The worker then proceeded too attach the weapon with one screw, causing a subsequent transformation crew to drop the activated CARS missile from the weapons bay of the H-2 bomber when moving the aircraft, resulting in a chain explosion. The official review of the security recording is still in progress, but it seems to be the likely cause
Forensic specialist identified that there was a probability that the CARS missile had enough explosion power to pressure the nuclear engines sitting on the assembly bench together, and subsequently a small nuclear explosion wiped out the entirety of the area.

The current estimated losses is the death of 2375 herbals inside 20 factories located in the industrial area, with another nearby 100,000 kernels under monitoring for possible radiation contamination. The nuclear waste disposal teams has started to clean the remains of the factories, but there seems to be no salvageable content.
