Hearthia Tests New Tanker Aircraft
Off the coast of Hearthia, a new tanker, the Interloper Mk2, lifted off for its first major test flight.
During the flight, the aircraft demonstrated comparable handling to the Mk1 while consuming significantly less fuel.
This innovation was made after some engineer got the idea to throw development into reverse and slap propellers onto the aircraft.
The Interloper Mk2 can also carry 1.6x the fuel of the Mk1, with additional fuel storage being created by enlarging the fuselage.
During the test flight, the trailing Feldspar A successfully made contact with the Interloper Mk2. A fuel transfer was then initiated.
Unfortunately there was a complication with the undocking process. The Hearthian test pilots, having experienced similar issues on previous test aircraft, were able to expertly pilot the two craft, still attached to each other, to a safe landing at a nearby airfield.
