Desovan Diplomatic Corps response to proposed Elohim Defense pact
To the diplomatic offices of Elohim,
I, Anto Brkić, acting as envoy to Elohim on behalf of the Principality of Desovo, formally notify your offices of the following.
The proposed treaty was placed before the General Assembly of the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth. It failed to secure the signatories required to bind the member states of the Commonwealth. The treaty is therefore null.
The Principality holds a deep and abiding respect for the Elohimian people, and this notification should not be understood otherwise. The matter of alignment, however, remains foreclosed by circumstances well known to your government.
No further discussion shall be entertained on this matter until such time as a reconciliatory vote is brought before the Assembly.
