As part of the new cooperation between the superpower and corporation, engineers from PLAID II's new UIF division installed DART refueling boom extensions on UIF KC-93 medium tankers and their newly procured Larrean KQ-1s. Airframe modifications were necessary to the KQ-1 to maintain stability during tanking operations, but these were successfully carried out.

Additionally, following the UIF's purchase of ASF-04 aircraft in the NPV configuration, PLAID has been contracted to integrate the Subsurface Enhanced Engagement & Environmental Reconnaissance (SEEKER) antisubmarine seeker mounted on the ASF-04 to UIF P-4 NPVs.
