In a shocking turn of events, the President of Hearthia was allowed to take to the podium while absolutely smashed.
Unfortunately the media team did not halt the broadcast, as they had locked themselves out of the room after all seven of them stepped outside for a break and forgot their keys inside.
During the drunken tirade, the Hearthian president revealed that not only was Hearthia preparing to partake in military actions against their neighbors, but that he wanted to instead betray his allies in the upcoming fight and instead go to war with Solaria.
Eventually the president was dragged away from the podium by the international ambassadors present, reportedly being told to "stop being such a chud".
As of today, the president has resigned in disgrace from his position at the head of both Hearthia and the Outer Wilds Ventures corporation, his Vice President taking the reins.
In an emergency address, the Vice President attempted to assure Hearthia's allies that the President's tirade did not represent the direction the nation was heading.
Hearthian troops have been stood on alert in anticipation for what might come next.
