At the monthly assembly of the Veiidic Council last Sunday, the Honourable Goran Herminov formally announced his retirement and relinquished his position to Kosta Tasova of the Novenadian delegation. The Honourable Goran Hermino has served as general secretary of the Veiidic Committee for his full term of 5 years, and now intends to retire to Shive and run a sailing school.
His successor, Kosta Tasova, entered politics at the age of 26 and joined the Novenadian delegation at 29, serving the prerequisite 10 years before being nominated for the position of general secretary and winning the referendum at the age of 40. When he is sworn in at the Veiidpalata on the 20th of September, Tasova will be the youngest general secretary in the history of the Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth.
The Consuls of the Most Serene Republic of Shive wish for the best in Hermino's retirement, as well as Tasova in paving a new path for Veiid and the Patrist faiths.
