Declaration IC-104
To the Shiven Consuls;
I enjoy the honor of informing you, on behalf of the people of Novenad and of Veiid, of a declaration of support for the Shiven aspiration of establishing an extraplanetary home for the Avienne people.
The following has been submitted to, and approved by, the Veiidic Council, and has been supported by the governments of the UIF and Basil:
The Pan-Veiidic Commonwealth favours the Shiven isthmus and her peoples, and views the creation of a Shiven colony on Laythe as a project necessitating their efforts. The PVC shall employ its diplomatic, industrial, and scientific capabilities toward that objective. These efforts will be undertaken with care so as not to damage relationships between Shive and her international partners, nor the economic status enjoyed by her citizens.
