The Most Serene Republic of Shive condemns the actions of the Second Republic of Basil and the Commonwealth of Irsmuncast, Ur, and Mentony.
For putting Shive and her allies under threat of invasion,
For instigating terror amongst brethren
For illegal interference within the Veiidic Council,
As we have seen with the example of the late [Mechani] Union, these are actions following in the path of complete and utter tyranny!
The Most Serene Republic of Shive reaffirms her relations with the Southern Veiidic countries.
Since conception, Shive was diplomatically isolated amongst the Norian Low countries; yet, the Kalbans at the other side of the world still offered their hand, in pursuit of the Divine.
It is not that Shive shuns her neighbors; it is that she was conceived into a cruel, hostile world, with nations—vying for power, embodying the Wyrrm that the Kalbans, since antiquity, have fought so hard to destroy.
