The City of Hardsno had very rarely been this quiet. Snowflakes fall upon empty houses. The only light on that night being the forges making weapons and armor for the great war.
We have mustered our forces and even now march to our deaths against the forces of evil. We fight for forgiveness. We will never wash away the sin of creating the overlord, but we can try.
We shall not stand idle waiting for evil to reach us. Instead, we will fight them on their turf and if God wills it kill them there. We shall embargo them starve them out and once they are no longer able to resist, we shall rest.
